Hi all. Made this track on Reason 4.0. 1st draft made today, not mixed. Need some input from you lot to make this step up a level. I like the sounds but need to ad something, especially to the second half to raise it up a notch.
Very clear sound, special, snare could be snappier though, nice edits, think it's a little overcompressed but could be me, vocal edit is nice, sweet track mate
Nice snare and I enjoy the minimalism. Good mix in Reason! Subbass is pumping. Kick and snare are getting seriously overpowered by the bass though and kinda lose their punch and presence big time. I wanna hear them really punching through. Needs more variation to keep it grooving along. Maybe a ride pattern or some cool chords that hold it all together. Conga gets repative without some minor variations in there. Try to pop a delay on 3 on there and break it down for a few bars with that going. I could see this going down well on the dancefloor. Good name too. Keep it up friend
First thing that caught me was the beat, think its very nicely constructed, like the element of darkness this track brings but I think it is lacking some more variations in the melodies. but the vocals are good and kind of carry through whats missing. Bass may need looking at with some eq but other than that great track.
