Please check out my new track 'xSky - Trouble' and post your comments here!

My latest.. thing.

First real attempt at resampling my bass. Not so much low-end on this one. A bit repetitive, yeah? If you think so, please give me suggestions on how to add more variation.

Not much to say now, ive listened it on headphones, it sound very dynamic and sparkly, havent much bad to say bout it. Maybe sub can be little more present, but thats more taste here, and of course heads arent that good for measuring the "subbiness" of a track.

I like it alot

Not bad at all...
Needs more variation indeed... Make some long bass notes to be played at the end of a bar with some drum variation (like you did just before the drop). Then add some rides or something after 8 bars to get more action into it. Now it sounds like Swedish techno from the nineties (repetitive like hell). You could also use some garbage electro drumbits to add variation to the drums instead.
This tune needs a hook as well, add some weird synth stab that fits with the atmosphere so the tune gets some identity.
The stereo on the pads and atmospheres is a bit extreme.

Cant really find any weird sounds that go well with my bass and atmos - I will lower the vol of the atmos as well.

Rides, aaah! Forgot about those xD

Should I remove some bass hits to make room for weird sounds, or wont that matter?

Cheers!

@alternate_force: Thanks bro! Much appreciated! Yeah, some people like repetitiveness - respect. Smile

Intro is dark as shit man, i just know something good is coming.....and you dont dissapoint!

Bass work is tight but i think needs more variation, these type of tunes are crazy with bass chop ups, glitchy things, multiple resamples, insane reese work ect ect.

Needs (as already mentioned) rides in there to work it up.
Drums are tight, mix is clean, master is good too.

Good tune mate

Like the intro and all the sounds used. Very good atmo. The drumz are good and the synth is dope, like the filtering on the bass/synth. Some dope drum patterns as well. Good tune!
