a chilly liquid track, with a moving edge, some melodramatic moments
hehe
some things about this version:
mid//mid-hi range is a bit empty, breaks are a bit too high in the frequency spectrum
, and the buildup before the drop gets a lil too sharp, and doesn't really drop smooth with the BD and the three crashes
those things are already changed, fixed, and finished in detail, but i only have a 320kb version of that one
apart from that
enjoy and tell me what u think

Good intro
Drums kicking in: sounds good.
Buildup to the drop: nice: but that one kick always being louder is a bit strange...
Drop: works fine.
Second drop is nice too, like the tricks you pulled there
Some more brilliance on the rides would be nice.
Well made track, though not my style at all...
3.5/5 I guess, hard to judge when it's not really your style... Might be a 4/5 too...

Nice intro, i liked so much, the atmosphere is perfect.
The song is cliping, so and the druns needs more life, too dirty, not pro after the drop the drum lost the presence maybe if will fix the volume to not clip.
Man my english is horrible hahahahahah
2/5.

i'm not really big on the whole 'liquid funk' thing, but this was a pretty solid tune...since you said you already sorted out the levels and other stuff, no need to comment on those, so i'm just gonna comment on the tune itself...i like that vocal sample, and that arpeggio as well...this tune has a great summer time vibe going for it...although it does start to feel a bit empty after the second drop---i was hoping for some other synths or something to keep the tune moving forward...some nice drum editing in here...all in all a pretty nice tune...

if u listen carefully in the second break//drop
you hear the main melody, with a half step delay, played on another synth, while the other synth that first took the melody presents the background chords.
with the drop the melody fades out, the frequency cutoff of the arpeggio thingie gets down in a one measure timelimit and there's indeed a new synth which then levels even above the arpeggio's, kinda high synth stuttering
so you expected it, it's there !
hehe could be that in this version it doesn't come out right though, if u might want the 320 version, u can always pm or msn or whatsoever
glad u like it !

First impression:
nice tune.
Second impression:
nice tune.
Third impression:
u know.
The snare is nice, though the snap is too big. You might increase the power of it by amplifying the lower frequencies of it.
Also , the drum loops are little boring, try to add ghost snares or something... You have them but it is all the same and again... so it becomes boring.
Nice melodies, especialy at 1:50 - 2:33. Also, nice switching between themes like in 4:35
The voice is mixed too quiet, I can't hear anything. But nice voice that is, some lady's I guess... nice nice.
Nice kick, though sometimes I can't hear it.
Nice, you have a real sense for music... Only you have to fix some stuff and there we go - nice tune for listening!

one more time
: levels are fixed, snaps are taken out, the big snap u hear in the snare is in fact a layered china cymbal (
damn i love em, when i got lots of money, 'm gonna buy a million of those
) that's levelled too loud in the automation
the vocal is a women singin: (feel so) (free), (i wanna get high), (i wanna break the limits)
but here it's indeed too quiet and has too much reverb i think
but also once again: i'm very pleased you like it !

with breaks and other chords, and progressions, etc etc, i'd be makin film music
am not sayin i haven't tried it or wouldn't try it, but when you do you get such a spread of chords harmonies end "emotions" it's hard to call it dnb anymore
then u'd be makin film music or i dunno ...
the thing is (i'm just sayin this for me personally, just a way of ... thinkin//doin//...) if you wanna make a rolling track, wether it's dnb or house or whatever mostly u gotta be careful in not overdoing in melodies and harmonies just make a (simple) 4 or 8 measure progression and make it intresting (--> = an example of most liquid tracks, house tracks etc ...
)
there's already lots of arranging and chords and small chord variations (in the second break)
well just my view
melodies and cheesey stuff i'll play on the piano
that's not what this was about anyway (the tune that is)
i'm gonna make some other stuff to with more song--wise structures etc... but that's no dnb, so no posting it here

The atmosphere is on the sunny side! I'm usually quite frightened with these sort of café del mar stuff, but this track never gets too cheesy! It has even some Plaid-references, and that's a good thing, imo.
Kicks, snares and bass are well audible and gives the track the drive it should have. Not too fond of the last melody-played-by-303-bass-synth, though, but that is a completely irrelevant piece of critic. Not!

I don't realy like the style of the tune, but it sounds good and I realy enjoyed the drum sequencing and sound. The drum breaks here and there are ace!
It's just being a little bit too melodic and cheerful for me, that's all.

i liked it as you could read on breakz.
drumsequenses are idd nice, though i find them not really necessary in this tune
curious what the final version will be
you sure have a nice idea allready u know that!
