hi,

yesterday i started mixing a little tune i'm working on, and i stumbled upon this really annoying problem: whenever i pan something to the right (left), all live does is take the signal from the right (left) and send it to BOTH speakers, instead of just muting the left (right) one.. i've been messing around with this all day using utilities, EQs and what not, but i can't change it even a little.
anyone familiar with this problem? btw, it doesn't matter if the sample being panned is mono or stereo, live just takes whatever's coming out of the side i turn the knob to and sends it to both speakers.
this is really driving me crazy, all the more since i've got the feeling it's just something really really stupid on my behalf.

any help at all would be most appreciated!
