Please check out my new track 'She Can Dance (clip)' and post your comments here!

My latest banger, and I think the vocal is quite funny Smile Rinse it!

Some really interesting sounds in this. I love how everything sounds loud and is easy to make out. I would raise the level of the sub/bass as I think this type of tune needs much more of a low growl. Love some of the drum fills and edits. I would work on the structure as currently (on first listen) it was hard for me to tell what was coming. Really good fresh tune - love it.

No doubt this track is well made, not my type of dnb though, machine gun noise at :42 is kind of annoying, bass stabs are sweet though but they could use some more low end to fill out the track some more. I am sure structuring the drums on a track like this takes time so well done there. Wish the sample was a little cleaner, and what if after the drop at 4:05 the drums used a more traditional drum sequence like the one the track starts with. After the chaos this would be seriously pleasing Smile breaks and rolls are sick. Ambience is lovely. Limewax fans willnprobably love this stuff.

Yeah, I know. 10 years ago, you had liquid and hard/techstep. These days everyone seems to listen to liquid or jump up, there doesn't seem to be much of a harder scene, except all those technoid guys, but I don't like technoid. So I know I'm alone here Smile

Good to know. On my system, it doesn't sound thin, but in the last year I've started lowering the amount of sub I add as I think I was adding too much.

What sample do you mean?

Not for me, I want the second drop to be ever sicker than anything that came before, so going for a tamer drum pattern is not an option on my book Smile

Thank for the review!

Wicked drums and fills, top notch mate.
Bass is heavy too, nice and fat and round.
Mix is really clean and master is superb and sounds really pro.
I heard tunes like this in the raves 10 years ago and your right its not really made any more...i dont think??
But i think when its done this well, sounds pretty awsome!

Cheers.

I like how the intro is totally ambient and chill and then just gets progressively more nasty. I like the hardcore elements, and the minimal melody adds that drama. This may be something to not drop early on in the evening for most club party-goers, but I'm a renegade take it out to the desert, or break-in warehouse with a genny kind of lady, so I am all smiles.

whaaaa??? this tune is madness. sounds reaaaly industrial. really like the percussive intro. good work. and the bass is just rude. maybe a bit too steppy and avin' it for me. but thats just my opinion. those breaks at the end of the bar are siick, good work with the choppage. (- :oh and soo are the tom rolls, are they sampled or programmed. (ive been trying to get them for too long) would really like to hear another version with that same bass but maybe a bit more flow with the drum beat. again just my opinion of corse. and that vocal sample is baaadbwoy! wheres it from?
general biig ups for the tune man. production is sounding really tight. what vst's do you use for your basssss ? sorry for being nosey! (-:

You mean more of a regular 2-step beat? I don't do those ever Smile

A movie called The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra Smile

None, I do everything in Reason. This might be a sampled one though, but if I make them myself, I mostly use Thor with some Scream 4 distortion on it.
