Intro is wicked man, bass and everything kicks in nice, very well made. Wish the winding bass was a bit louder cause it sounds good. Also think it would sound sick if the track had a short section without the clap, maybe replace it with another sound for a few bars, but definitely keep it in there. Sick track.
great intro man, loving the bass line its pretty damn groovy. love the extra percussion too. the structure works damn well.
not sure if your filtered wubby basses are a little too ambient, maybe could be brought into focus a bit more. and the kick starts to fill up my ears a little. i t could be a little lower in the mix. saying that the snare needs to be louder a tad and needs more of a tail on it. the snares kinda abruptly stop which breaks the atmosphere a bit.
Ok RADICAL feedback! Thanks a ton guys! I will play with the mix a little more, bring the synths into focus and make them a little louder, take the clap snare out in the last part and mess with levels. Nearly done and I love that feeling!
ive listened to this track several times and it has amazing suspense but theres no jump up and the drum pattern doesnt seem to be in the norm "broken style for dnb, although it is still a beautiful track it also needs less effects and way more sub bass. never the less it is a preview.
nice sounds on the intro but there a tad too loud and distorting, nice layer of sounds though. nice crisp drums. dubstep isnt really my thing but overall a nice sounding track. some good ideas in there but i cant say it makes me want to turn my speakers up and shock out but as i said im not really into dub step. really need to sort them levels out m8ee. spoils all the good layering youve got going on. a nice deep sub would sit very nicely with those beats and twisted bass notes.
Thanks guys! Ya I corrected those distorting intro FX's and the mastered version has a very powerful subbass. The levels sounds alright in the main body of the track to me apart from some mild variations. This isnt really a drum n bass track as the temp is 128 so its also not really dubstep either its more of a downtempo kinda hypnotic track. So I wanst going to Jump Up style traditional drums. Thanks a ton for the feedback and I will get back at you in a day...
I like the intro, got me interested. Kick can use a high layer. Like the laid back bass and synth sounds. All the FX and sounds selected go well. Nice tune.
