Well, you got it right that a remix doesn't have to add anything new to be a good remix or a good track...
Dark intro, lo-fi (not in a bad way) relaxed drums... good.
Cuts away again and starts over with nice buildup with the bass kicking in. Nice.
Drop: good work on the old skool drums. One major problem: they are way too quiet. The are completely overpowered by the bassline, which results in tem loosing any power they had (hard to descide if they had any, I just can't hear them, it's all bass
)
Supersaw kicking in: maybe a bit more reverb on thisone, dunno, might be personal taste.
Second drop: liking what you did with the supersaw. panning maybe should be a bit less extreme left right, but like the idear.
So, you did the drums yourself for once: from what I could make out (really hard on these seakers, I'll let you hear tomorrow!) you did a good job.
Nice track, but I guess you had to rush it, and you didn't have time to do a proper mixdown, so that resulted in the problems present... Post a better version later on!!!
So good track on itself
3.5/5 for the track
2/5 for the mixdown

yeah, the drums need to be much louder...got a dark feel, and the whole tune is pretty minimal in approach...while i normally don't really care for minimal tunes, this one works well as it...just sort out that mixdown and it'll make a huge difference....

Thx for the comments to everyone. Idd the message is clear about the drums. I have mixed the track the same day I made about 80% of the track so every sound was way to much in my head (solo). I won't listen to it for a few days and then I'll do the mix, I think that's a far better reference.

yeah, always a good idea to do the mixdown another day, so your ears are 'fresh' so to speak...

Definetly bassline overrides everything. So lower it's level. Pannig saw with pitchbend is nice. A bit melancholik but overall nice remix. Lacks work on mixing indeed.
Rate for now 3+ of 5
