Iam a student, but to get money I have to work as a temp Mad

. Some of the contracts are great(like working in Barcardi factory Big Grin

), but I've had to stuff like doing night-shifts at a dog-food factory which was absolute hell-on-earth(the stench of dog food, working with complete muppets and only getting a 1/2hr break in an 8hr shift(which was only just long enough to run outside have a smoke and run back!). Ive also had to sweep the floor of a car parts factory and once had to pack bottles of pesticide into boxes for 10hrs. I think im the only student I know who really looks foward to academic work, just because it really beats having to do that crap. Big Grin

That's not in Belgium right? Cause the employers here can't let students work for more than 6 hours without a one-hour break..

I just resigned my current job Dance

. was kinda bored as fuck around here. nothing to do all day but write boring scientific papers, which get rejected in review, so re-write them with other conventions (i.e. references Burning

). allthough this was only the last 4 months...end of project. The good thing was; with nothing to do; hunt for samples, read all tutorials on the net, read some synth manuals Big Grin

... but this was not healthy.

anyway, come octobre 1st, I'm starting anew. quote new firm: ...Are you looking for a company where you can make a difference? Would you like your work to positively impact the quality of life? In communities? In countries? Even on the planet?....

only 'downside'... i'll be much time abroad for the new job (mostly (eastern) europe though), so hope i don't have to cancel too many bookings Frown

I'm a Code Monkey (computer programmer, errr software engineer, whateva you wanna call it).

I write computer games for a living, specialisations - audio [surprise] and animation.

It's ok, would get stacks more cash working for a bank coding but I enjoy my job some days! Smile

) Although when things go bad I tend to spend all day swearing at my PCs!

My previous job as an audio programmer for a different games studio meant I had 24hour access to a ProTools studio which was wicked! Currently living in the North of England but moving to London to work very soon!

I play out friday an saturday and believe it or not it finally pays the bills.
the rest of the week is spent `smokin up gods fine greens and producing shitty tunes. i only sleep about 20 hours a week so thats alot of green and shitty tunes Spliff

I got fired today!!! they told me i wasnt objective anymore and that i liked all the stuff that has to be tested (for info 0496/52 40 97)(close enough). Now thats true Rasta

anyway its open and vacant.
Got myself a new job being the new left hand of a priest in a church nearby. I cann prepare the hosties, receive the children on sunday, collect in the church, jurk off priests ****. I get to make the music for the sunday service so feel free to send me some idea's.
I have seen the light but i dont really know anymore!!!!
