Hope you're not talkin' bout yourself - hardly noticed an accent there actually. You hear it's not your native language, but it's actually pritty good. I've certainly heard a lot worse in the few years I work now...
In the beginning of my working-carreer, some 4 years ago, I had tech support from a company of which the policy was to communicate with clients only in english, which was pritty stupid, even when you got a dutch-speaking person on the line he/she would speak english. So far so good, had no real problem with that, but when you really need support on something, and the only-ones available on the help-desk are french-speaking with very little english knowledge - it is a problem. They barely understood what you were saying, and their answers weren't always that clear 
The tech-support I expected from them wasn't like "please connect your power cord before turning on the computer" - but a bit mor technical and complicated, so I wasn't really surprised when there were misunderstandings. My french at that time also wasn't really smth to brag about, so when they started the conversation in english, I continued to speak english. Learned a great deal of frenglish there, and if really needed. So if you insist - I _could_ give it a try

i know what you mean ! especially in a bilingual working environment like mine, either everybody speaks z'n eigen taal, OR everybody speaks english. which makes that i may have to talk englihs with french-speaking people sometimes... which i obviously hate !!!
as for me, i've met quite a lot of people lately who told me "hey you talk so funny ! when you talk english you don't have any french accent at all !" they were exaggerating so had to explain :"you do have a dutch accent!".

btw emmetje , i really DO like english talking with french accents , hilarious sometimes ( but that's only in those soap series like aloo aloo and shizzle , but still funny ) ... but it is like it is , and IRL i woul never laugh with it ( coz the french will probably be laughing with my french aswell
) coz if they try , you have to recpect it

I make sure you all get electricity, gas and water (in some way...) . Well actually I make sure that most of the Energy-companies in Belgium get all information they need from each other (application-manager).
Like Koffie already told exhaustive, being somewhere between different companies all wanting the best for them it can be difficult negotiating and making sure everyone understands the different problems and doesn't exaggerate his own... But because of that there's always work to do so I hope I can sit tight in my function
French people always try to speak Dutch with me, that's handy. I wonder how that comes? (maybe once they hear my French they switch to Dutch
) Still I'm curious to hear Emmetje's accent, maybe this weekend on Step One?
