Get this
The original post was probably made by Sevengun.
No synth can import them you need to loop them in a sampler
Google is your friend, search.

screw FL, use Reaktor. oh and yeah just loop those oscillations. by the way, a sawtooth wave looped forward-backward forms a triangle wave; and a square wave looped forward-backward has its pitch decreased by an octave. fun.

Why would I google it, it was hosted on this site...
Anyway if you are interested check http://www.adventurekid.se/akrt/waveforms/ |
Then FFS mention that before I search.
Check the samples section it is called test tones.

Before you get your knickers in a twist, Battle, the first thing I done was check the samples list. So.... FFS don't make me download a file called test tones, when they clearly are...test tones
I've searched back to 2008 in most sub-sections in the forum and havn't found the post, which is why I asked if anyone "remembers" the thread.
@Ciaran. Yeah I checked out Reaktor on my pal's system. Was running Razor, sounds V good, I wouldn't mind delving into the synth/ fx side of it. Do you create your own patches?

make my own patches? I make my own instruments, haha... Reaktor is seriously good once you get the hang of it. not trying to brag or anything, but I made this dub delay thing the other day - the amount of things you can make is only limited by your imagination! and, er, your CPU, the amount of modules available, and.. etc.
anyways, you can make your own instruments/ensembles [an ensemble just means the whole thing put together, e.g. 3 instruments all connected together and into the output]. And these can be used as VSTs, provided you got the right software. Damn I wish Reason could support 'em. anyway, I think I'm ranting a bit, so go ahead and try Reaktor, well; get your friend to help you. Seriously, it'll help you understand about music AND electronics at the same time.
