Please check out my new track 'Csel - Tanker Bell (surya's Impression)' and post your comments here!
First version, which I concider unfinished, of my remix of Csel's Tanker Bell.
I intended to keep closer to the original, but that didn't work out. Maybe I'll make an other version later on.
Let me know what you think!

I don't know the original.
Dunno about these hammer style drums, it doesn't give me any "vibe" especially when repeated very often. It would be nice to have some hammer stuff between drums that have some groove in them though.

for those drums to work i think you should distort the shit out of them.

Pretty enjoyable track, the drumline in the second half leaves me wanting a little more though. This is probably the only part of the track I think needs some work. Check out the Dom and Roland track "Jedi". The drums in that song pull off the same style your going for but it sounds smoother, kinda hard to explain in writing. The intro is pretty nice and everything sits in the mix very nicely, definitely want to hear the final version of this one, solid.

Drumz are better than the origional in the sense that they are more centered, but the patterns can use more change to keep them from gettting to repeatitive. Like the drum rolls. Bass can come up. The whole mix is very centered, maybe add some pads that pan slightly. It's a good RMX.
