So I bought myself some Klipsch Groove PM20's.

The Bose Companions have more high end, the Klipsch's give better subbass.
The bass knob on the Klipsch Grooves is totally unnecessary; actually it's not really the lower bass frequencies but the midrange bass frequencies that can be pumped up and when you turn them all the way up it just sounds horrible. The treble does not go down when you turn up the bass. I don't understand why Klipsch added bass control instead of opting for an objective sound image.

Friend with hyperacusis compared the speakers, says the Boses are better, clearer sound, better material (wood vs plastic)

The Klipsches have an on/off indication led and are turned on and off by pushing the volume button, the Boses are turned off by turning the volume all the way down, which sucks because you have to search for the correct volume again every time you turn them on.
