The Bose Companions have more high end, the Klipsch's give better subbass. The bass knob on the Klipsch Grooves is totally unnecessary; actually it's not really the lower bass frequencies but the midrange bass frequencies that can be pumped up and when you turn them all the way up it just sounds horrible. The treble does not go down when you turn up the bass.
