there's no such thing as clownstep. If it's good, i'll buy it.
btw: i believe the correct term is 'nu jump-up', if it wasn't for dylan, 'clownstep' didn't excist.

Could be, but I still call it that, since it's a bit ridiculous (the concept of the genre) Big Grin
And the term is used by a lot of people, and they all know what is meant by it...

And offcourse there are good choons in the genre, but to me the overall quality isn't as high as in some other genres. It all sounds VERY formulaic...

bof, if it sounds good, i'll buy it. anyway, i like practically all genres, but i like it most when a dj mixes it all up, can't hear the same style for to long...

don't know if it's true that the overall quality is less than for other genres. about formalic: tramen+reece+tideltidelpiano isn't that orignal either Big Grin

personally, i kinda have a 'nu-skool jump-up' overload at the moment, so i don't play many of the new tunes. but my taste comes in waves, depends on the mood, and a hernia does not shout out to jump around Big Grin

a proper definition of clownstep has to do with the way you dance it, hasn't it ?

so... would you call "DJ Hazard - Ready for this" clownstep ?? ???

coz if it's clowstep...

I don't mind a couple'o records like that in a set (nor am I really waiting for it - I like it harder Wink ) - but don't exaggerate. They're usually a bit slower as far as I am aware, but you can't drive full-throttle all the time (or can you? Big Grin )

yup, you got it right...Hazard's clownstep for sure...so is most of Distorted Mindz, and Twisted Individual...Krust has been doing some clowny stuff as well lately (check out his set on drum n bass arena)...
