Please check out my new track 'Turbulant Heat' and post your comments here!
the track is about 8month old. it was the first one, who i had the feeling, that i was able to produce and use things i realy wanted without some restrictions. i think i can cut the song 4-5min without losing content. tell your impressions.

The drums make it sound like a hardcore punk band.
Try to keep 170-174bpm for best results.
Too many kicks.
The bass right at the start doesn't have any bass frequenties.
Around 4' there's a squeeking sound that would give people in a club ear damage.
The whole mixdown is clipping like hell. Turn down the levels.

drums sound not strong enough imo, the snare should have more snap. at some points the drums remind me of slipknot-doublebass-solos which is a little confusing. also missin some more elements in the track like pads & fx-stuff to give it more character. the growling bass sounds quite good. i guess i would try changing/layering the drums, adding some pads and see how it works out. cheers!

heyho, big thanks for your previews and timeinvest!
the most points you did say about the sound are same like my oppinion. overall the sound is a bit thin and if i listen to the song, i had the feeling that drum and bassline/melo have a far distance between. the song is a way to long, thats way the most have the feeling from boring, i will cut it to 4-5min and will effect the melo with some phaser or disto. i will work on it as soon as possible but atm i work on two other songs for the upcoming Vinyl

You've got some good sounds but some of the breaks are a bit dodge and it's got a very step sequenced feel. You really need to take your time to perfect the beat first then start layering and structuring. The main synth hook is quite cool though. Try modeling the structure round another tune too. This will help.
