It's kinda similar to the original, I'm afraid. I tried a few different aproaches, but it seems it's kinda hard not to do the same but still make a remix, and not a whole new track. This is an unfinished version, I'll don't make the finished one public for the time being, but I wanted your feedback anyway So: intro is going to get filled up a bit, just like the breakdowns, the drums are going to get some more variations, some FX will be added here and there, but you get the idear I guess. I did use the original lead sound, but since doing that the whole track, I went for another leadsound I made with the nice Infector synth (Buzz users know thisone). Download here Now tell me: is it worth trying sending this in? Or does it completely stink? Yeah, I listened to all them remixes too yesterday. The goodones have little to do with the original indeed, exept for that Ooh Baby sample, and some others... hmmm... well, you get the idear. After hearing them all I acually started liking mine more coz it's more connected to the original and thus better from a remix point of view. Its the original.. Remix is something different from original! Thats why its called re-mix! Thats mean that u with your imagination rebuild the original tune and with half of original samples mix it! But thats my opinion! U ripped the horn from original and put in ur remix! Thats not good! The rhytm is okay, same like original with louder snare! Not impressed! Bassline, okay... I dont like the original and I'm not really feeling this one cause you've used the same bassline. Your remix is better than the original, beefed up bass and you've used variations throughout the tune. The vocal 'hugh!' fits well, the wah wah bass is fresh and the track is well produced, the drums on the intro are crisp!
