A drum n bass track I have been working on the past few days. Looking for feedback regarding the mix. I also need to fix that little drum edit neurofunk toms thing. Any feedback at all much appreciated. Thanks!
Wickid!
Great atmosphere in the intro (Vuvuzela anyone?), all very dark and sinister. Drop could connect better with the intro to keep the atmosphere going (I'm always struggling with that myself).
Love the percussion you added.
From around 1:25 things get very busy and speedy which doesn't improve it for me.
Very good track though.

Overall the track sounds very well produced. Really dark vibe. I think it should be switched up and set the beat to regular time instead of keeping the half time. It' not my style so I can't say I like it but I can see the production that went in and it's definately ace.
Great intro dude love the horns and tension this creates I'd like to hear more of that. Should be atleast a minute long IMO. Nice hard and heavy drop too but I m not sure if Drum n Bass is an accurate description of this? It kinda leans towards more of a dubstep style I feel, but I like it alot. Maybe at the 2.08 mark you could introduce a more DnB styled drum pattern and progress it from there? Just a suggestion bro
Great work big ups and much respect
Ya maybe a 4/4 no swing pattern switch up would do the track good. Motivated by that track Magical Thinking by Ed Rush & Optical I'm thinking like how it starts all drum n bass and get a swing going on.
Like the epic intro. Really like the drum fill at :46. Don't like the sound that comes in at 1:22, that does my head in. Maybe just have it in short sections. Would definitely boost that bass. Very different, like it.
Lovely intro, I think it would help the track if you kept the horns in the first break, the drop has maybe too little connection to the intro. Also distorted horns sound awesome, they would most likely boost up the half-time feeling.
The Synth collides with your hi-hats from 1:20 on - try to give it another drum line there, that would beef the diversity up. You could also cut the hihat out here and keep just the percussion for the beat.
I like the percussive outro a lot, but try to slim out the mid-part for easier listening.
