But the tune is quite nice liquid, nice atmosphere. Maybe some stronger melody would help the track.

typing as im listening on ok headphones...

Intro seems ok, nice mix with the hats and pads..

kick drum seems very light in the mix.

Yeah- you defo need to turn down the bass channel/track a bit to let the mix breathe more..
Your 'bass' is overpowering the sound and stealing all ur freq bandwidth.

The arps of your melody can get a bit ott and too much.. needs more pauses and a couple of drops would be nice Smile

Not a bad tune, but the mix is gonna get ripped apart.. its all good learning fun tho eh Smile

yeah it's all good.

i'm wondering what i should do tho cause i made quite the effort 2 make the sub line subby enouf.
Wich meant pumping it's volume.
currently i'm w8ing for my krk rokit 8's so mixing isn't at it's peak yett.
I'm also using a subwoofer 2 make tunes wich sometimes colors my mix if the volume isn't set propperly .

i could do 2 things here tho, dunno wich 1 to pick.
i could eQ more of the lower frequenties out of the rest of the song so the bass get's more room or i could fiddle around with volume settings af the subline but ifear it will lose it's power this way.

the kick is as punchy as it's gonna get.
i used a transient shaper on it so...
only thing i could do here is maybe layer a fewmore kick samples over the original 2 make it bigger altho that wasn't realy my intention for this song.

about adding more pauses and/or drops
dunno where u would do that m8 if i shop the song up more it's gonna be drop after drop loosing the continuety for the whole imo.

these r all questions not remarks on ur comments
i'd like 2 hear ur thoughts on these.

Really like this. Like the snappyness of the snare. Not really rumbling in the sub range in a way that works. I would make sure the sub is peaking around 50-60hz. Use a frequency analyser and make sure the sub gradually fades to zero at around 800-1000hz. Make sure you have a nice natural curve to zero. Once you have done that, compress the sub as well as glide the notes between each other (that means you'll have no change in volume). Also fade in very slightly on the first hit so you don't get an uncontrolled peak in volume. Once this is done, try and get the sub as loud as you can (Sub Focus technique) without interfering with the rest of the track. All the best.

Nice n original, me likes, bass is a touch loud 2 me thou and the beats could stand out/kik a little mo imo.
