Good moody vibe. Tune just sounds a bit timid. I'd try boosting the velocity of your MIDI in most parts (if you haven't already done so) to get the sounds as attacking as they can be. Then maybe try some gating on individual elements to make them pump. Kick and snare could benefit from more level in the mix also. All the best.

Nice and creeping feel to this. The transition between notes on the bassline sounds a bit abrupt though, maybe have them overlap a bit more. Atmospheric.

imo the drums could go better with some more snap (especially the kick) and turning down the hats a little, nice drum-programming though, melodies sound ok, get a little repetetive after a while though, maybe try adding some "non-padish" elements to it, track has potential for a nice liquid-tune Wink

The hats are turned up too loud and the kick could use a bit more punch and presence. Other then that drum programming is awesome.

It sounds a slight bit bare/hollow. Add a couple more effects here in there to spice it up and give it some life you're good to go!

After all ur much appreciated replies Bigup ,i'v been hard at it.
this tune was a few weeks old when i posted it and when i went back 2 look at it again i noticed the project didn't have any mastering on it just a bare mix with some pre master fx.
I do wonder how i go about uploading/posting the same track but cleaned up.
R there any rules on how 2 do this?

tx again for the replies

Nice soundscape intro... the chinca crash needs to go i IMO... Build up needs to be improve,

Nice bass sound, i like it, maybe you could adjust the reverb a bit... make it more subtle and move it front a bit

2:55 stops me writing for a moment... maybe i just love trance Smile

Good one
