I stopped with FL at version 7.
Still using it as my N°1 DAW, still loving it but not moving up to those new versions.
I don't see no added value, just tons of clutter.

I have to disagree with you there, there are plenty of useful changes, especially since version 7. I guess it just works exactly as you want it to work and you don't feel the need to change.

Well it doesn't always work the way I'd expect but I got used to the " necessary habits" and I don't have to focus on the DAW at all, I just need to think music... which is good.
If menu options get tossed around and some new shit gets added for the sake of adding new shit then it just distracts me from thinking music.
For me the only really useful addition in FL10 is Patcher (free) which will be very helpfull to make complex bass-rape effect chains and re-use them.
BTW: Did you notice that it isn't called FL Studio anymore, it's FL STUD10 from now on...

I hear what battles saying about work flows .when I got reason 5 I didn't hate it I have just used it for less than an hour since I have had it .my work flow in reason4 is quite fast and I'm starting to get a bit of creativity back

Exactly... I hate to spend time on the program... it's a tool, nothing more.
The patcher plugin in FL Stud 10 is a clear copy from Reason Combinator of course. I always envied Reason for it.

combinator is great for making new instruments and the possibilities are way out there wit what you can do . i love reason for dr rex i do a lot of resampling ,the speed at which you can get a sample in a track in slices . the longest part about it is using recycLe but it's all part of the fun, dr octo is a cunt and i hate him.
however the fruity sampler has it's advantages i quite like the timestretch in it i used to be quite good with slicex but that was a long time ago
i think a lot of new elements they have added in fl9 were great , sawer is a ridiculously powerfully synth and i use it regularely , and that autogun thing has some very deep sound patches in it whenever i start playin with that i want to make neuro !
but for me the best synth of them all is wasp it's the synth i learnt first off on and come back to a hell of a lot , not sure when wasp was introduced but i started on fl7
