Ez dotbe.
This is a liquidy roller I've started working on again after a long break. I uploaded an early version of this on .be about 6 months ago,
and it has changed a lot since then. The structure and the basic idea are completely different.
My main concern at the moment is the mixdown/mastering, I've tried pumping the volume as much as I can but it still seems very powerless and quiet compared to professional tunes (and even my own tunes)...
Very good mixdown, for me it's loud enough, it's nice and chill, those pads are sweet too, bass sound is great. Very good vibes, drums are nice too.

Nothing jumped out as bad... just a nice competent roller.. reminds me of by your side for some reason.. maybe because I can 'hear' that vocal running over this and it would work well
What type of limiter are you using on your master?
Are you sidechaining your bass with your breaks?
pad in the intro contains crackling sounds... (especially in the first 10 seconds).
Love the drums, pads are too loud (too much compression?)
This style reminds me a lot of Whizz&Daze who had a couple releases on some major labels.
Liking, but all in all the pad level is a problem.
Could do with a couple of extra elements as it gets pretty repetitive (2:50 when I write this).
The incoming drums after 4' are weird (can we expect another drop this late in the tune?)
Add some melodies and some FX, fix levels and you have a winner.

@Impact: Cheers mate
Getting a vocalist to sing on this so your fantasy just might become true if all goes well
I have Fruity Compressor + Fruity Limiter on the mixer.. I mainly just use FL's native plugins atm.
And yeah I have sidechained the bass with the kick, made it very subtle tho, on average the bass runs below the kick anyway.
@Battle: I can't hear any crackling at least when I listen to the original (non-dotbe-downgraded-version) on my computer.
The drums are going up and down in volume a bit tho and that is due to too much compression/limiting, I'll sort it out.
And yeah I'm going to make a second drop to this. A short symbolic drop just to let the DJ mix into the next tune (yes, sorry I do think of DJ's when making tunes
haha).
Great intro. Really atmospheric.
Don't quite like the snare. It's a bit too "thumpy". Can't really explain. Just not my type I guess
Typical Puzzle track, great bass, great atmosphere, great fx.
Great track in general. Maybe put some variation on your drums?
You hear the same beat all over again.
It'd definitely add something more to your track.
athmosphere reminds me of some vibrasphere tracks, very deep feeling in this, missin a more characteristic bass maybe, drums sound very clean, mixdown sounds pretty good on my speakers, maybe some more variation would improve it even more, very nice tune
Hey Puzzle. Like the pads, tune sounds clean and clear. Sub sounds full and nice. Would maybe have it a bit more noticeably present in the mix. Good work overall.
Not sure what you mean about the tune sounding 'powerless'. It rumbles nicely on Swift's soundsystem.
Chilling intro, I love that, sweet atmosphere that is built up, nice filter sweep and drum intro. Not to extreme but still punchy. The subbass is nice to hear with my subwoofer
And good sidechaining, chills 8-) The overall structure doesnt build up very much tension, but that isnt needed in liquid durm and bass. The FX-Fills are lovely, love the one at 2:56! This could defenetly be played on drumandbass.fm or something like that
Enjoyed listening to it.
@shir_pan: Yeah man I think a more characteristic bass is needed.. Maybe something similar to the one on Doubts by Naibu
@virtual_riot: Thanks
Yeah I wasn't going for a very powerful drop, just wanted a nice tune that would roll happily ever after... Or at least until the outro.
