Hey man, thanks for the constructive comments on my track The Whisper, working on it.
This is a roller for sure, mixdown is wicked all sounds work great and sit well all i would say is that all sounds at the end of each bar need more stereo coz they are a bit central for my taste.
Good stuff and loving the sub and vibe of this one!
Intro's really not my cuppa tea, it's too empty overall and the drums sound very thin and quite boring. Once the tune picks up momentum I quite like it tho, fun vibes! The whole tune needs some warmth, imo it's remaster o'clock for you Battle mate.
I hate intro's alltogether, I love the Ramones-approach (1-2-3-4 Bang
)
If I add some pads to the intro you won't be bothered by thin drums, they are thin because I left some elements out for the intro.
The mastering still needs to improve
I'll add more variation, this is just a first version.
Thanks for the feedback guys!

good to see your trying to come back to a more err commercial (shall we say) genre m8.
beats as usual typical clean n tidy bd stuff crisp as fresh lettice.
thing i liked about your earlier work was how cerebral they felt.
i miss the earlier bd work and feel altho youve nailed the whole jump thing,
i think a return to "head" music better "O suits you sir".

zalige track (sweet track) I love the beats very nice mastering, those tomtom sounds are tight and offer some variation, bass is nice, atmoz is nice, notthing too complain about, needs some variation though. But nice shizzle

Safe Battledrone, like your build-up. Reminds me a bit of older Hazard / DJ Zinc stuff. Has got that 'Tru Playaz' kind of groove. Would definitely switch up that lead melody with something else, gets a little repetitive after a while. Definitely has a cheeky groove to it though. I can imagine GQ, Dett or IC3 busting out to this. Big up!
Intro drums sound quite tight, but the kick is noticeably light in the bass dept..
Synth arp is ok, melody didnt annoy me
Bass when it hits is cool.
Mix sounds pretty tight.
The arrangment isnt my cup o tea- but I can appreciate the effort and time that went into it.
Melody starts to get annoying @ 2min>
Seeing as its been playing pretty much non stop since the intro..
Breakdown @ 2:40ish is cool.
Was excpecting some kind of morphing nasty squelchy bass to emerge- but it didnt.
Melody needs another phrase dude. Please!
(By 3:20 I'm ready to swtich it off as that same jump-up melody is still looping...)
Technically slick, and no doubt jumpUp/dancefloor heads will be feeling it.
Nicely done.
Now this is something solid
Good drums and nice bass! This could be played on drumnbass.fm with no problems. Maybe you could add some more tension breaks...or some rising effects around 2:36 to make the next part more intense, some rising noise, and when its at 100% loundness, you chop it off, then play that small fill at 02:51 and continue with your main part
Just a small idea I had.
A word of explanation on the mixdown...
I see a lot of people saying the mixdown is good, I'm really happy about that because a lot of times I think the mixdown of a tune is the nightmare stage where I ruin everything or try and try and fail every time and the tune ends up to be one of the many unfinished projects on my harddrive.
So this time I did some stuff in a different way.
I picked a clean break and used a LO and HI split on it to treat both parts differently The hi-end isn't mono, has a bit of distortion for bite and it has a bit of reverb. The lo-end has only compression on it and is set to mono.
All instruments except for the basses are VST so they sound crisp and clean, I cut out the low end of them as far as it wasn't needed (let it play in a loop, turn down the low end and start taking out more and more low until you notice that the sound is getting thin, then you are too far and need to go back a bit).
The basses are a sub sample (which get's lo treatment only of course) and a VST bass which get's both LO and HI treatment. Same process here, let it loop and start cutting off what you don't need until you reach the limit.
Furthermore I searched for sounds that don't clash... meaning that they are all peaking at different frequencies lead synth at 2-3KHz, Guitarish thing at 4-5KHz, vocal at 1-2 KHz and so on...
I didn't use sidechaining yet, I might do that for the final version to give that kickdrum the extra bit of punch. I also will warm up the mix a bit.
On the master bus there's only Izotope Ozone 4.
The biggest problem will be to create some variation without fucking up the vibe
.

the intro is pretty bare for my tasteas, iknow a djs gotta mix but it could do with some more intrest. however when it kicks in, man it kicks in, its awesome. the drums could do with a bit more compression to get punchier but overall i am really feelin this one. especially loving the bass stabs at the end of some of the bars. love the 2nd drop and the drum rolls thereafter!
Sound cool mate, but i really think that u should add some heavy bass. Something like b-complex in beautiful lies. That will add tune more life.Otherwise is good tune. And of course more variations in sounds. The main melody is playing all the tune ( not fan of that )
Big ups!
