Hey guys. Something I threw together in a couple of hours. It's due to get transferred into my 'low potential' folder, but I thought I'd see what some other producers think.
i miss some pads, some athmosphere in general in this one, gets repetitive after around 1:20, drums have punch though, just missin variation, tune needs def alot more work, but no reason for low potential imo
There's not much going on, but I'll try and review what's there.
Drums. Good basic sounds, the snare and the kick both need some punch (maybe another layer) and the whole beat needs more percussions/hihats to keep it rolling.
Main bassline (the sub) gets boring very quickly, you only used two notes.. Same for the squeaky lead in the background.
The growly basses that come in every once in a while are pretty cool tho. Maybe just salvage those and start a new tune with them
very nice intro str8 in with the hard kick and snare, reminds me alot of Narky, oh but then some lovely very dark bass comes in, and it starts to sound more liek Audio
the section after the drop could be made a bit more different from before the drop but it is good none the less. im liking the shaking up of kick drum positioning but overall it could do with a bit more progression.
