Hey bone man, Pace here. Like the bass you have used in this tune and the piano sample works really well. Like your use of little samples like the guitar at around 2:49.

Would definitely compress the urban vocals so they are coming through nice and solid.

All the best, Pace

Hi Boneman,

Nice use of vocals, good tune overal.
Need some work on the beat, make it more clear more punchy. Especialy the snare. Some parts when bassline cuts through everything you can hear beat dissapearing.
cheers.

Not to shabby for some jungle bizzzz. If your gonna come hard like that you have to have waaay more edits. Bass is pretty sick! Sounds like your tune has just a lil too much hi's but the lows are pretty good. Not bad

Nice bass, but it sometimes feels like more tracks then one, think you do not need that many vocals, mix is oke, needs mastering as you said, around 2.11 thats the shit you should use to make on track.
Respect man

ez dude.
Im loving the fact there are all these new (and old) guys come out of nowhere.. so much good music to check out Smile I love it!

Liking the old skool jungle feel.. intro made me wait for 'YES YES!' that never came.. Big Grin

break needs to be TIGHT for jungle! louder, crisper and more attack like you've done with the later Amen.

Stereo effect on the 'atmos' seems a little overcooked.. rest of it is spot on tho as far as I can hear.
Like the bass breakdown and piano riff Smile
You have some kind of resonant 'ping' around 2.02 thats really too wide/loud for the mix it ruins the vibe for me..
Really like the dub fx and feel later on.. its almost a second MENTAL intro (that I love!) needs CHOPPAGE! Big Grin

Nice sub in the intro. but everything sound like it's in the background? or is this me? My speakers make it okay, but in my headset it sounds in the background, might me me though.
nice drums, can't complain, maybe a bit more high end in the hats,or less mids but nonetheless nice drums.
drums in the intro sound a bit less good.
Talking about the kick
very nice bassline though
melody is nice, has a pretty nice oldskool feeling.
makes me move too, really like it.
could be sweeter, but this is defo a good thing to start with.
no idea to add more,
nice solid track with minor flaws innit,
good work ! ^^

- well-manufactured beats to start with
- catchy vocals & nice atmospheric sounds
- dig the amen-loop (starting 3.22)
- good climax leading to the amen
- bass is a bit too quiet for my ears
- overall a quite enjoyable, booty-shakin' tune. quality work!

yes man im loving this vibe!

its got a proper serum/bladerunner thing going on.

i love the break you use at the start, ive been looking for it for ages, what is it if you dont mind me asking? i love the ticker in it!

the sub bass is properly sick. and the little bit crush ant the end of the bars is a nice touch.

i think at times your atmospheres can sleightly over power your drums. maybe from 2 mins onwards. maybe notch them down sleightly. apart from that man you've got a really nice warm, rolling sound going on.
just got to the breaks at 3.22. HEEEEAAAVVVYYYY.
did you get someone to do the lyrics or is it a vocal sample?
i recently have been working on tracks with a ragga mc. it's well exciting!
should have tunes posted up soon!

oh and what software do you use out of curiosity?

dannyLO - cheers mate! ive properly finished the track now, changed it a little bit but when ive given it a quick mastering ill send you a copy.....

institute - been using logic 8 for about 2 and a half years now, its a good sequencer. all the vocals i use are samples, sometimes from old reggae tracks aswell as sample packs. would love to work with some mc's sometime but until then......
the break at the start is one i just got on a dnb sample cd with a magazine i bought, its not titled but when i get a minute i can upload it and send it you

need to return the favour and check out some tunes on here, will do very soon!
