ez all,

I'm trying to figure out if its possible to get this effect in a DAW. It basically sounds like the tune quickly slows to a stop like its a vinyl on a platter. I'd like to apply the effect to a pad before a drop.

I guess i can do it by loading a wav of the pad into VirtualDJ software, which has this effect build in. I can record it then load it back into the DAW, but i was hoping to find an easier / quicker way to do it within the daw itself that way i can make any changes more efficiently. Any help would be awesome. Oh, i'm using FL studio btw.

I do this by automating the main pitch in the tune.

that sounds like easy enough, but where do you get the main pitch of a tune? i know where it is on a sampler or audio clip, but on the whole tune???
