This is the final installment of the heavy-weight “Reboot the System” series. Showcasing 2 of drum n’ bass scene’s brightest stars remixing 2 tunes from Gridlok’s debut LP “Break The System”.
Side A | BLOKHE4D (Hospital/Bad Taste/Unique) re-imagines Gridlok and Elhornet (of Pendulum)’s 2006 anthem “Hollywood”, with great effect. Razor sharp beats and massive subs hold together a constantly twisting and turning musical rollercoaster ride.
Side B | Project 51 favorites THE UPBEATS (Virus/Ram/NonVogue) kicks Gridlok and MC Dino’s “Watching Us” into rocking bass heavy territory that only our favorite New Zealand exports can do. “They” are watching us, we are raising our middle fingers!
