the piano is awsome , inspiring, when that sub kicks in , i imagine in my warped mind me sittin in on a rainy day with me looking out the window blazing this track with a smoking jacket on and a glass of brandy . nice lol

It's hard to believe that this comes from the same stable as 'Womble Snatcher'. You need to have more 'bad' days like this.

For me this tune captures, beautifully, the jazz element that a lot of tracks lack. Reminds me a of a smoke filled bar in some black and white movie filled with sexy women and smartly dressed fellas conversing casually over a glass of single malt, while the bartender gives a nod to the piano player across the room as he quietly taps to the beat.

As it is a WIP I won't comment on the production side till I hear the complete version except to say that I'm feelin' it.

Music wise I hope that it's you playing the piano, has a great laid back swing.

Interesting tune. The intro made me feel quite relaxed and I really fell into the vibe. It sounds like the piano is playing quite strongly on the left of the stage. I would probably make sure that the piano was coming both from the far left and the far right of the soundstage. Obviously keep the drums centre but the percussion could be spread out to the left and right slightly. I would also raise the level of your sub so that the tune has a bit more low end rumble. I'm not too keen on the political content of the vocals as I don't agree with all that stuff. This puts me off the tune a bit, but otherwise it's a really interesting vibe. Good job! Pace out

agreed about the ambience of the track.

Break works ok, feeling the bassline.. could maybe do with a motown style female vocal over the top of the break (see Muwookie/Mutt on soundcloud for reference!),sub and piano..

I really like the direction of the tune, I look forward to the final piece!
for me this is my favourite of your recent works.

oh, and I feel the current speech/vox doesnt fit so well; and grates with the excellent mellow jazz vibes

Thanks for the comments, I've yet to a proper mixdown, the track is really a sketch at the mo. I feel the sub is actually a little too strong in the mix. Il keep the vocals in for now, they need sum eq work, after all everyones entitled to there opinion. Anyway better get this finished pronto, muwookie wants it Smile
