do you mean samples and stuff or live vocals ???
In that case i would advise you to contact raggamuffin whiteman or someone like him

I'd go to the record store and pick up some reggae accapellas. Lots of people have used them. Or pick up some N2O records (jungle toolz) there are like 5 different records that have bass lines only or breaks only or bunches of ragga vocals. Just listen to them a bit and see if its what you want.

don't know any shops where i can find ragga acapellas
but it's solved now,i'm getting the right connections
i only haven't got "world gone mand" acapella from beenie man,which was the one i wanted most
bout the N20 records:
the only shop that sells them in Belgium is miss elorak but as it's a north american label it's not always sure when she got any of them
but it was especially for ragga vocals,we're going to start make some stuff together(me and a friend)again this or next week,and he's got enough drums/basses/fx on his computer
thanx for the reply

I found quite some ragga, rap vocals on Kazaa. You just need to type in acapella (try some different writing possibilities) in the search board. You've got some ragga vocals from Beenie Man and other famous artists. Cheers,

do you have to install kazaa?
cause if so i'm better off searching on google,from time to time i find some stuff there(more than 120 ragga vocals/dub fx,etc up now on doa
)
and someone on my msn can zip +- 10 vocals every time,it only takes a little while

just a question: do all of you use those sample sites and sample cd's or do you actually hunt down the original cd's/records the samples were lifted from in the first place. I'm just an old git, see, and to me sampling is an art as well, it reflects your musical knowledge and your personal influences.

I don't really "hunt down" samples I found off turntablism/scratch dj records but if I find the original I am really stoked. Mostly I use reggae 45s because the store by my house has 200 or 300 of them. I usally go hunting there to find good stuff to mix in my tracks, but I though you couldn't use those samples here on this site that is why my tracks all sound minimal, because I take the track on cd and mix with 45s or other records when I do DJ mixs.
