Yeah, I didn't know the track, so I downloaded it... not really my style. Quite dull acually. Just one catchy melody, some drums and a sub, that's it in fact... I'll see what I can make of that...

I know... got the 12" myself, didn't play it much Big Grin

but then again... better to remix something fairly OK than some killertune. than, at least we can try and make it better, instead of totally mess up a beautiful tune init Smile

btw:my samples seem to have a lot of noise in them Confused or is it supposed to be that way?

There is some noise on them, but not that much...
Recreating the leadsound is fairly hard, no?

guess we got the raw sounds here Big Grin . I think it's the orgsample, heavily processed, but that's all i know.

anyway, raw samples mean we can make whatever you want i guess, so doesn't have to sound like the original. anyway, only had a quick listen, working on somethin else now, and wanna finish that first (eq is a bitch (if you can't handle her Big Grin ))

i don't think they are missing Smile Just on processed. anyway, giving up on recreating parts of it, specially the effects, can't even recognize which is were etc Big Grin

finished the beats, made a new lead with a synth, now the rest (this is were i usually give up). oh yeah, noise appears to be mostly on one channel, so i copied the good one over the other, it makes a lot of difference Bigup

anyone got some ideas to do with the effect Confused would be fun to be able to kinda recreate those, so it's a bit recognisable

That's what I mean with missing. If they're not missing, those guys did some very creative layering and shit, coz I don't see how they did that horn like sound in the intro and stuff...

Mine is like over 2 minutes, but I'm gonna start over, coz it's got little to do with the original, and the transition sounds very forced.
Gonna keep it though, for a 100% selfmade track, its kinda hard and stuff Big Grin

Lol, the one that can make this tune a killer track and keep the track recognisable as a remix of the original deserves really something! Well that something is idd a release, good luck to all!

I think the original melody is much to simple to hold it and transform the rest into something decent. A difficult track to handle according to me Cool

anyone still messing around with this one?? someone had some nice results? Confused

not totally content with what i have so far, still kinda 'linear' Frown but than again, the original is kinda straigthforward too so... don't know if i get time to finish it, or if i'll send in something.

so just interested in hearing some other experiences.

Yeah, been workin on this tune for a week now, started one, didnt like it, so started another, dont like the original much so my remix sounds nothing like it, (is that good or bad? Confused ) completely different style.
I'll post it up next week some time see wot people think.

of all the people that heard my thingie, nobody recognised te original either Big Grin

Probably cause the sound of the lead is very distinctive, and i used something else, and just copied the keys.

can some versions be posted here? the samples are not exactly copyrigth free...allthough everyone can download them...anyway, could use some feedback (other than...i don't like the melody Smile )
