If anyone remembers Dieselboys cd "the sixth session" the 3rd track was entitled NanoBugs...by:Signal to Noise... well waht i did was since i cant remix directly, i decided to emulate the song, and add my own lil variations...the eyedea of this was to really make it a track that reminds you of an alien invasion...hence the remix title...the bass is made to sound more acoustic, and slightly wavy...and hopefully i did a lil better on my mastering(there are still some problems)...also the breaks are a little better...HIT IT UP PEOPLES...this one i feel is my best so far...and its not done...hte others i dont really feel to work on any further however this one is going to eventually be a solid piece...comments more than welcome... :bigup:

Intro is great! Good choice of effects, mainly that long bassdrum. Breaks are quite fast and that's what I like. But I think there are too many hi's in about 1:41(tambourine and hihats). But it doesn't matter. Anyway the voice is great too. Simply I like it.
And as you said it has to remind alien invasion so that works!

to be completely honest, i don't really like the track, its well produced sound wise, but i think the arrangement is shoddy, there is no power in the bass, you expect a big drop and it does nothing, much preferred your last track i heard (lethargy state).

aigth, it's minimal again, but like it more than your previous one Big Grin

anyway, the mood and effects etc are nicely done

don't like the snare again Big Grin

also takes up all your headroom, so compress it. if you look at the levels, the snare is popping out. Break could use some more elements, ghostsnares or something, not a fan off those rambling hihats.

also a clearer bass or something and a bass-melody would be nice

anyway, keep em coming Bigup

Kinda agree with the above. Also want to add: kick needs a boost and needs to be more auditable, so boost it's mid range a bit.

Overall track is a bit boring, and most stuff in there isn't really that intresting. The mood is quite what you were aiming for, I guess, but that doesn't make the track stand out.

2.5/5 since the soundquality is quite good.

Compressor needed for drums indeed.
No real bassline or sub appears in this one. Lacks more snare's. The snare you use haven't got power. etc. etc.
Sorry didn't like this one. I think you should drop it and move to the next one or completely remix it.
RATE: 2- (as Surya said soundquality is good) Frown

So far your best track is New Age imho.
