Hey mate,

Your piano sounds a bit "preset-y" try downloading a good piano re:fill with piano samples that sound very natural.
Liking the beat in the intro. I'd ditch the choir. Doesn't quite benefit the track, imo.
Also at 1:05 you have a drop, build up to that drop and drop it harder. Right now, only the beat changes and everything else stays the same.
I was expecting a heavier drop, so work on that.

Very good violins! Really loving your strings.

Good job mate, you're definitely improving,
but I think it might still be a while until you're
good enough to be released..
It's not like you can decide to be released, a label has to REALLY
like what you made, and I don't think this is good enough.

Keep doing your thing, and in a couple of years, who knows what might happen.

Just don't focus on getting released

Drums need more power.
The instruments sound very "plastic" as if they were from a General Midi soundfile.
To me this sounds like hiphop with a twist rather that Dnb.

Well from the beginning the whole thing sounds programmed, There doesnt seem to be anything different from the intro and the track itself after the drop so some definition would be greatly invited
The drums sound placid in my opinion, maybe some more layering or different kits, some percussian wouldnt go amiss
But overall the track sounds well eq'd, interesting but lacks dynamic =]

Did you do all the piano programming yourself? I like the epicness you went for with the piano, violins, and choir...piano could be switched for another, the hip hop beats are sick, i like to save the half time drums for later on in my tracks, but to each there own Big Grin at .55 lower the piano volume, and the drop needs to be more epic slice up the viloins, pianos, make some twisted basslines add a vocal of some monk chat or something and unleash something beastly for a drop, layer your drums moar as well, dont worry about getting things signed, just keep writing and learning, listen to lotz and lotz of what your trying to achieve mimick it to the T then create your own style, if you work at it enough it will all fall into place, be patient young padawan....

Yes the piano is mine. I don't use Samples all i made is from plugins
piano-Fl keys. Violins and Strings-Orchestral. Choir-Magnus Choir.
Any way thanks guys for the nice honest feedbacks ( I really appreciate it) and i will try to fix this tune and be better Smile
Big ups!

dont worry about labels yet. that will come with time. You have great musical composition skills, but need to spend time on finding good quality samples. For starters, this track lacks a bass, which is crucial in drum & BASS music Smile Also, some of these elements are not very dnb-ish. choir pads, etc. are a bit old skool. If that's your thing, then by all means go for it. Also, you can defo create your own style by using samples like these, but i suggest spending more time listening to dnb tracks & dissecting the way they're produced. Intros, drops, drum edits, etc. Right now you have a great composition resting on a dnb tempo & drum break, but that doesn't make it dnb. So, long story short listen to artists you like, mimic them for starters, find quality samples including drum breaks (which you can find on this site!) & learn about layering, creating basses, etc... things that make dnb what it is.
