This is a remake of a track I made a couple of years ago, but thatone had really bad sound quality...

The structure and everything is the same, and not very sophisticated...

I think I was kinda influenced by Omni Trio - Thru the Vibe when making it, hence the piano and strings...

So a review.
I'm not really fond of that style but ill try to be impartial.
Indeed u need to boost mid and hi freq's or lower the bassline. I had to increase all freq's after 300hz just to hear how the break is going. THE BASS IS OVERDRIVEN!
Main drum is nice and fat. Like it. Breaks are nice.
Cool sound coming from about 1:30, like it itself but i would mix it a litle bit other way. Or maybe feel with some effects like phaser or simple filtering.

it's pretty short and end's a bit unexpected. Perhaps expand it a little, with bringing in some additional stuff in the last part.

Result: A bit melanholic track with a nice melody and fat drum and bassline. Though needs a lot of eqing work and little more variations.
RATE: For now 3+

Ow ow, I have this track already a long time but seeing it again in the spotlight, mmmmm Pleased

I find it superb, fairly simple, very chilling and yet not background music. The right equilibrium for this one! Bigup

The part beginning from 1'30" has improved, it's more ritmic now, good work!
I believe you've put a lot of tube distortion but that doesn't compensate the fact that the bass is not well EQ'd. My monitors pump a fine bass but the normal speakers flip! I can hear a constant variation in the bassline, try to accentuate that!

You really should think about polishing this track because it's great for sure!

Edit: Ah everybody here gives points so I'll do the same.
4/5 for now, a decent polished version will surely get 4.5! Bigup

I see what you mean. That's coz there's a pumping sub line there, which you can hardly hear, it's quite deep. Maybe I should do some multiband compression...

being a bit different from yr overall style, this song goes deeper than yr other ones.

i only know one word for what this song is, apart from yr others...

i'm organising the mess in my room here and I had this track playing
I caught myself bopping my head to the beat. That's good Smile

I like the chilly piano riff in it. It gives the relaxed tune an epical vibe... um... if you know what I mean Wink

Hm I dunno. I liked some of it and disliked some of it. I especially enjoyed the drums and the "dark sound" coming at 1:30.
The strings in the other hand... not my cup of tea in that case. Smile

Also a bit short imho, but maybe it was edited?

hmmm

to be honest it starts quite promising with the haunted synths, the melody in the break is nice

but i find the drums too weak, kicks doens't really kick, try to notch it up.

maybe is the synth way to loud compared to the actual drop.

can't see your settings but i am talking about the lower sounding synth that goes along with the intro melody

it's nice, good melody, just some personal eq thingies!
cathedral still the best!

First things that come to mind drop at 1:30 is very light, since the build-up is more than quite ok, you'd expect an ulltraheavy moment of impact. And it ain't there Cry

!!
But the atmospheres are nice, very epic, but without too much Mr. Boombastic. Euh,... whatever that may be...
Very well produced also.
But the strings, hmm sometimes a bit too cheesy, but their sound in relation to the bass is awesome, very deep and warm.
