sweet, favorite track I have heard on the forum so far(haven't heard many to b honest)
I could tell str8 away when I heard the drums that this would be a decent track..
Since this is a feedback based forum I will give my two cents..
for an unmastered track it sounds pretty good..
maybe some more edits, drum edits would spice up the arrangement...I always hear ppl banging on about that so....
one thing of note, JUST a suggestion: High notes on subs sometimes stick out in the mix and take up headroom....some producers don't layer them with a sub and just leave them un-highpassed or make subs out of that sound if u get my drift...can make the low sound more cohesive but its just a matter of taste really and would probably b more work than its worth at this stage of the game 4 u!

really decent track! the sound's dope. the kick isnt the way i'd see it. his lowend kinda clashes with the bass, so the only thing that is heard from the kick are his top freqs. not that good sounding. the snare is also a bit hidden behind other elements. maybe cut something from the bassline to make the kick and snare punch through nicely.
Drums need more, maybe some sidechaining to make the low hz of the kick sit better in the mix as it is conflicting with the sub atm. Drums kinda sound muffled overall, and the snare has hardly any power. Some drum variations here and there would also be nice as well throughout the tune.
Song structure wise... took over 2 minutes for the drop. A bit long imho but, to each his own.
The whole track is sidechained off the kick/snare which if you had an inkling of a clue, you would be able to tell.
As far as song structure wise, I don't know where you got your two minutes from... it's 1 min 26 til the drop; not over 2 minutes - geez it's not that hard to look at a clock.. if you don't know what you're talking about; don't offer your opinion.

Hmmm odd, you are correct. Guess this lurking laptop glitched because it most definitely read 2:03 for some damn reason that I'm unaware of and skimming back to your drop and it's at a normal mediocre spot that most put the drop at. Good on you for that, ass fuck. (rightful response since you're being a prick)
Anyways, your sidechaining efforts aren't working however, as there's still conflict, regardless if you did or not, as the kick and sub are still conflicting. How much are you sidechaining it btw? Are you being subtle or something on it? It may need to be more aggressively used because shit is still happening.
btw - When you post a tune on here, do know that you asking for peoples opinions. You're not always going to be happy with what you hear, you should probably take it constructively or not post up work at all.
I'll take your point on the sub and kick, and the lack of drum variation... i'll have to do something about those...
I'm sure my tracks will never be as awesome and non-mediocre as yours because I must be putting the drop in the wrong spot.. how I wish I could pick the perfect second to put the drop.. maybe 16 seconds is right? maybe 1:48.023 would be right for you? You tell me. What's the secret timecode for a drop? Go on, elighten me.

Muffling tends to happen with the double mp3 compression on here; and I suspect that might be contributing to the kick/sub problem too because none of my references here reflect your point. Taken on board though, and I'll try and stengthen the sidechaining.

Picking random things to whine about? They're pet peeves I look for in my own work and that I always listen for in all music out of OCD. @ life link you are aware that you can't pick the second you want it to drop at you are bound by bar and bpm ie 32 48 64 at what ever bpm if you want your track to be mixably sound
Damn knew there was something wrong . I might try a 173.65 bpm track at bar 61 hopefully it will drop at precisely 1 min 21 sec 342 mil sec , let's cross our fingers and hope that this gets just beyond mediocre status Ay , pfft , Ffs
Like I'm going to post my best work on soundcloud lol. I'd think not, as that's for sending out demo's and floor testing for shows I play at. (ie. played 4 tunes not listed on my SC at a recent event Nov. 12 and got an amazing response).
You can say what you want, however I can safely say I don't sound like Utopia, Xilent, etc. as that's pretty unoriginal to do imho. So thanks for the exposure on my soundcloud, either it be positive or negative, I don't really care as you'll now always know the name, troll.
