HI guys,
Long time no hear !
Had a lots going on in my life last half a year, got married, job and house move - had no time to do what we do best.. So, long story short - this one is a fresh idea, just a preview as it is still in production. Have a go and let me know what you think, as always feedback much appreciated !
Drums has some problems in rolling. If you want to go for a less rolling drum then you should do it all over the drums.
The pads seem pretty ambient which doesn't fit to the more traditional funky drums imo. I would make the drums more minimal.

First off i like this track the further in it gets,
At the start im swirled into this atmospheric smokey glaze,
I would suggest a little reverb on the hat fill the carrys us through to the very faint drop,
Understandably the drop isnt intense or there at all, but the track itself gives the progressive feel so it actually sits nicely,
The drums are hard hits on the ears which is nice, but the pattern is very plain and predictable,
Love the chord stab the flits in every so often around 1:30, compliment the atmospherics well =]
Overall this is definately a progressive grower and although i didnt enjoy it at first it certainly redeemed itself =D
