The server will be upgraded tomorrow around 13:00. The site will be offline for 10-15 minutes.
I'm going to double the memory and put a new processor in. The site is now running on a lowly Athlon XP 3000+ with 1GB RAM. It will be upgraded to an Athlon 64 X2 4400+ with 2GB RAM. The 4400+ is 5 years old and not for sale anymore but it is the fastest processor the motherboard can take. It was quite hard to find in the right guise (socket 939, stepping E6, 89W), but I managed to track down a new one on Ebay Australia 
I will also give the server a good spring clean. If all goes well the site should be a lot faster tomorrow. It is no slouch now, but it can become sluggish during the nightly backup routine. Hopefully that is sorted tomorrow
