just started playing around with fruity loops for a couple weeks and i need help with something.. but you know when you press the Enter key to play a sample? then let go of the Enter key to stop the sample from playing? well i just made a gabber kick with 3xOsc, and it sounds good, but when i press Enter to play the sample, it keeps playing the sound for 5 seconds then stops playing.. why doesnt the sound stop playing when i take my finger off the Enter key?
edit: hmm, i guess nevermind? when i use piano roll with the sample, it doesnt keep playing :/

Youre sample needs an envelope for that.
In your sampler change the Attack decay sustain and release values.
Set them to zero, zero, maximum and zero and you'll get the effect you want.
