this is one thing ihaven't got me head round yet if someone could explain how to do this i think i get the idea of filtering them in but there must be an easier way of doing it than automating the equalizer frequency on every single percussive element i'm a reason user by the way an example of this is in this link its in the lead up to the drop http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8kxG3fJVzYQ

Do you have all your drums/percussion routed to a separate mixer? if not you should.

If/once you do route it into a Thor synth and use the modulation matrix on the synth to route the audio through filter 3.

then you'll be able to filter the whole drums sound anyway you like

now you have said this it makes sense i always had a mixer with my drums on the top line then opened a second mixer straight underneath for bass's synths fx etc , no wonder mixing down was so hard wot a twat thanx for the help man
