Hey have you seen that you are nominated for the track of the month?
Wow you can play the piano? So you're a real musician then?
Have had a quick listen, really love it, it's powerful and kicking!!
Will review later, have to dash now...

Was kinda surprised to hear a piano. Moslty I don't feel piano's fit into dance music very well... but the pianosound you chose and the melodies are just very well chosen! Nice!
Bassline is beating, heavy!
Drums are very nice too, but too much compression. The drop wasn't as heavy as I hoped due to this.
Bassline is really sick. Is it that bassline sample you made longer? Great!
Love the breakdown too. How you bring in the bassline @ 3.54, and the sub kicks in @ 4.00, together with the hats... And than those trance pads come in. OMFG! And than the tone switch @ 4.48... shivers, really!
Heavy drop again!
Drop @ 6.24 sounds like there is a tiny mistake there. Kick and bassline aren't completely in sync or something.
Great track! It's hard, it's rough, but oh so melodic and it has such a great atmosphere! One of the best made tracks I've heard here, although the mastering could be a bit better (less compression on the drums, piano a tad less up front)
4.5/5

cheers 4 the review,
I was in two minds to program the drums using separates to give the track more clarity, but I went for the loop instead, you're right about the compression.
When I finish a tune I dont make much of an effort to tweak things like compression eq's limiters and all that I just get bored and start on another tune. Working on one now which I'm trying to get these things sorted, should have it finished in about a week, wont be my best track for content but it should be better a production.

I never bother tweaking compression either, so I don't use any, than it can't be bad, resulting in a clear sounding track (I hope

Yo so finally i found the way how to "cheat" my firewall
and downloaded this one.. next review will be maybe quite hard but I'll just try to be honest.
The piano in the begining have nice melody but it's quite bad sample i think like from tracker tune in 98.. effect that comes in have quite bad fidelity and if it's sample i guess it is not the best quality. Piano is quite too loud imo and. Nice bassline and beats drops in 1:31 but again it has very messy sound to me. Nice drum edits and sequencing but the sound drops it down very much to me. Try to work on mixage so the sounds will be better "identifiable" If i may advice to you try to choose the most quality samples, use 24 or 32 bit rendering and use just limiter .. for example waves L2 limiter in wavelab and render it once again to 32 bit wave and just then convert it to 44/16 or mp3..
Overall it should be nice song it's clear that decibel has some skills in producing but there's a way to go on "sound engineering" way
peace

this song fits right in with "DHR" alec empire and company, which to this day i still listen to. the piano and breakbeat kinda took me 2 listens to get used to, but its tight. besides christoph de babalons "residiuum" this is the second breakbeat DHRish jam that i like due to its uniqeness. nice track man

No worries BZU, when I finish a tune I give my bro a listen, he's a producer too (check his tracks out http://www.overplay.co.uk/band.asp?band_id=1000481)
When he heard this one, he didnt get it cause there is a lot going on, but after a couple of listens he kinda got it. It's always good to get an opinion off fresh ears to see if things work. This track must be one of those that grow on you?

must be :p
I now especially like the part after the break @ 4.0X or sumtin. The dropping in again really rocks, and also the 5.00 and especially 5.20, that sound sounds SO overwhelming melancholic
