That album sounds great, almost American with their wall-of-sound approach (concerning guitar-based bands). They aren't afraid of pushing things a bit beyond the red lights on the mixing desk, are they? The studio got some fame after recording the first Nemo album which got massive airplay on studio brussel a couple of years ago. I'm not working there on a regular base anymore, but in 1998 I worked there full time for a year. Now I work there only when a band asks me to mix their album, or to do some mastering etc. I get a nice discount there, which makes it interesting for bands on a tight budget - they can record in a pro studio for the same price they would pay for a semi pro studio. Or get a few days extra for the same price It's still my favorite studio, all the gear is very well maintained, the room sounds gorgeous (don't have to think about any possible unbalanced frequencies, just go in and mix ) and it's in continous development. Just now the owner is installing a new SSL console, guess it will be replaced by a better one in less than a year If anyone wants to get their tracks mastered here, send me a PM, I can get excellent results very cheaply (say around 75 euro per track, or 400 euro for a full album of 8-9 tracks). Can do mixing there too for about 400 euro per track (10 hours work, so it will be more if you're having over 100 channels on each track like the last band I did ) __ If you find spam on the site, please hit the button and select my name.
