What's up DnB.be,
You probably haven't heard from me before because I haven't been very vocal on the forums, but I've been reading a lot and found this to be the best site to upload my work.
This track was made in FL and took a few days to make.
It's a heavy, dark, and distorted darkstep/techstep-like track, which is what I'm going for.
All criticism is welcome, let me have it! :-)

bit of a barrage of sound its not really gluing together to well those bass sounds sound a bit gabberified to harsh needs work

Agree this is a little messy and when it drops it needs to stay a lot longer and not keep breaking down. I would remove everything but the drop itself and start again to be honest coz i'm not feeling the breaks or intro. However I love the energy, bass sounds, etc the nastier the better imo. Re -edit this imo - im feeling the main part of the track very naaasty

Intro sound isn't very entertaining, melody instrument sounds really thin and the melody itself sounds unispired and off tone. The buildup is a bit of an easy way out.
Too much reverb on drums.
Bass needs a low end (sub).
Needs some pads & FX and maybe some vocal bits to create a dark atmosphere atmosphere.
The pitching of the snare is sometimes to much.
pads in breakdown sound clipping.
The second drop is much better than the first one.
Structure is very good.
Good for a first track...
Keep doing this... you will improve!

Thanks for all the feedback guys,
This is a track I made a few weeks ago, but due to having to format my PC I lost the source file for FL, so I can't edit it anymore I'm affraid.
I've learned a lot about mixing and mastering from these forums already so I'll try to implement all that plus the feedback here into my next track.

lack of fx and sounds. its just the same beat with really bad melody. after 3. min there's some change, but tbh, i wouldnt make it to that on the dancefloor
