Damn, I'll try this again lol. I uploaded this the othe rnight and found out it wasn't the one I wanted to up. Guess thats what I get for paying attention.

On to the track. Well, finally after what seems ages now, I've finally got something going. Felt kinda weird sitting down and writing a track but seems once I got a flow going, it wasn't so bad. It's very short and pretty well out of structure. I'm still working to build a much more complete intro and coming up with some new sounds to throw in the mix. Also, it's a bit repetitive right now and I'll have to fix that before I up the final take. I was more curious to see what anyone thought of the idea so far.

I haven't even done any mastering yet, pretty well bounced right out of FL Studio as is so some levels may be off.

I'm really hoping this track will be a new start for me and I'm not really proud of it at this time though. I have lots of ideas on where i'd like this to go and I won't upload again until it's finished.

Big ups to battle drone though for hearing my first take, and yes, I will work harder to not use the drop vocal so much ;-). Tongue

And my apologies for the mess up.

You might have some compression issues as the snare drum isn't always at the same level.
Work it, it has a lot of potential!
Needs some extra elements to keep it going though.

Drop vocal is not so boring,you should add reverb in that vocal...Bass is nice.The intro is nice too.I love the drums,maybe more variations would be cool.Also you need some notes more on the bass and that high pitch element.Also you need to cut the drop(not the vocal,the real drop Smile

),it's get boring after some time...Thats all Smile

thanks guys for the feedback. i know it's not very exciting of a listen but i will definitely take ideas into consideration for the final track. i'm definitely working hard to sort out the overall structure and less repetitiveness of the track as well and save the eq'ing issues for last. just still a bit rusty on the edges with being out of tune writing for so long. thanks again! i like the drum rythm
could maybe do with some effect or synth in the background - just to open up the tune a bit?
woo woo woo vocal sample 0:42 (or a similar one) was overused back in the day, but you dont hear it much now so thats cool and the other samples fit the tune niclely (too many 'drop's - but u know that)

slight minimalist hip hop stylings - decent preview mate!

Yes man this is wicked! Banana

The snare & kick aren't of my favourite kind, but they work well in this tune.
Something I would definately work on is the 16th note hihats; they sound really robotic.

Everything else sounds great so far, this should completely smash the dancefloors! Big Grin

wow guys ,thx so much for the feedback. but really it's not that impressive. this is kinda like my breaking the rust phase. it's been a couple years now since i've even fired up the sequencers and put the monitors to real work. but trust me, this one's already getting a serious makeover and hopefully the final will take this one and rub it in the dirt. well, maybe not, i dunno. i hope. but thanks for the words of encouragement.
