Please check out my new track 'Other Suns' and post your comments here!
It has been awhile since I uploaded a track here so i thought that I would upload my latest neurofunk track. Created with Reason 4. Mastered with T-Racks 1.0.
the intro feels a bit empty to me and the vocal sample is maybe a bit loud..some fx would help
nice drop with the spoken part, good synth sound..drums could be a little tighter but the overall sound is good!
it's a long track and tends to get a bit repetitive..maybe some more variations, shorten a bit the breakdown??just some thoughts..
good track but need some work..
Wierd FX in the intro, like it. Drumz are a tad sloppy EQ wise and not very tight. Gate compression and more chopping can fix it. The kick has some nice punch. Like the vocal sample.
Interesting vocal sample, quite like it. Drum aren't great though, I can here a more stomping 'steppa' style beat over the vocals sample to be honest.
The drop surprised me though, definitely feeling the techyness with the bass and slurping fx over it, and the beat seems to fit better here.
Overall this has a lot of potential to be yet another tech dnb tune, I can imagine loads of strings and orchestral instrumentation drenched in reverb creating quite an epic build up to the drop.
Concentrating on the drop alone with the drums and bass, it gets me moving - I think it needs something percussive to help it roll better though.
__ QUANTUM.AUDIO - Keep an eye out for forthcoming tracks...
This track has some nice ideas.
I really like the vocal, but it's a tiny bit to prominent in the mix.
Kick sounds good but the snare sounds to empty. Maybe add some more compression or an extra, deeper layer. Bass sounds good but maybe needs to be a bit cleaner in the mix around 03.10, so you can hear the roll in it better ( I could be wrong on this tho). The drums around 04.40 nicely build up to the drop, again good use of the vocal.
Synths sound nice.
Overall I like it! Work a little on that snare and the mixdown and this is a really nice track!
