Cerberus - jungletrain.net promomix october 2010
For his third promomix since being on board on Jungletrain, Cerberus decided to go back to what interests him the most in drum & bass. Beats. Plenty of them and in various forms throughout the mix.
The summer haitus of the Sub Woofing show turned out to be an excellent time to reflect on this, and the outcome ended up being both simple and straightforward: just do it.
Being a dj who blends different styles into one just doing it doesn't come easy.
Aiding in the process of selecting tracks was the fact that he recently moved and was forced to go through most of his vinyl, revealing some lesser played gems. The mix contains old and new bits, proving that a promomix doesn't need to be about the latest fashion. The selection just needs to fit the mix, be it new, old, forthcoming or just plain classic.
Big up to everyone who tune in to Sub Woofing and Substitute Woofing, thank you all for the support. Sadly, due to the recent move the show isn't back to a regular schedule yet, but you can be sure that it will return soon.

Broadcasting since 2001, jungletrain.net is a 24/7 drum & bass internet radio with ~50 LIVE shows a week. With ~100 DJs from around the world, the station showcases a variety of styles and sub-genres, with a focus on the deeper and more "subverted" sounds of drum & bass.
PROMOMIX SERIES
The jungletrain.net promomix series has been published monthly since December 2004. Each mix showcases a different jungletrain.net DJ, offering a taste of his/her show on jungletrain.net. Starting in October 2009 the promomix series began to also feature an occasional special edition "engineers" mix, featuring dubplates and unreleased tracks from jungletrain.net producers and affiliated labels.
