Please check out my new track 'Piano Soul' and post your comments here!

This is one of my newer drum n bass tunes - The structure is pretty much completed - I have a vocalist by the name of Savy - you may remember her from Ben sage's "Sleepless" which also has an evol intent remix on youtube - I will post the final version once we have the vocal track - She has a cold atm so the recording didn't work out today...lol But Anyway, I was pretty excited about the turnout so far so I thought that I'd throw a preview out - Enjoy guys

Nice layed back vibe going on.
The intro is nice, piano sounds catchy, bass comes in nicely, drums are tight, I like the congas.
The snare that comes in at 03.00 sounds a bit strange to me with the rest of the drums on that break. Maybe try a fuller snare ( don't realy know how to say what I mean)I like the piano and violin(?). Filters on the drums around 03.18 keep things interesting. Drum programming is realy nice, I like the accents with that rims around 04.31-04.53. Structure is great. The mixdown seems very good to me. I Like it! Very curious about the vocals you have planned for this one!

clear and professional
bongos are notoriously hard to get right - u nailed it. i dont noramlly go for happy sounding tracks but this really does it the piano adds class - the vocal samples sit nicely with understated drums that fade in and the main drum pattern is pleasing especially the flanger effect u used.

this will be full on if u put a full vocal on it!
tasty!

The reverb on the hihat in the intro causes a disturbing crackling sound.

Bbear - good call on that - I agree on that snare at 3.00 now that I'm checkin it out - I think ill rip that right out for now - Battle Drone - I must not have as good of speakers as you cause I don't pick that up here - thanks for letting me know. I'll have to find a way to cut that down a bit. Thanks for the input - different sound sources always show the imperfections.

I think the bass is a bit too loud in the mix. Not sure about the hat sample as well. To me it sounds a bit too "clicky" but that's a matter of style i think. Reaaaaaaally goood. I'm feeling the soul
Good Vibe

Awesome job!

Man love the mix, think the piano intro, could be more lively, its little to dry (detail). Love the part after that vocal man. I cant wait to hear it with that vocal. Drums are tight. Clear mix
