Love the dissonant ambient pad here, very moving. Piano could be effected more to fit in with the vibe of the moment and automate the delay to get some cool results. Great Drop!! Drums sound SUPER crisp and yet full at the same time. Bass tone is right on and glides through the rhythms nicely. Def a track for a movie or to get in the mood for relaxing. Could use more automation and little FX's in there to fill it in and give it that final touch. Female vocal sounds excellent. More drum automation and layers. Needs one more ride or something in there. Would like it if you cut down the sustain on the open hat for a measure or so to get that grooving quality. Take it there and then make it mellow again. The contrast and combination would make it really grooving. Overall excellent idea and excution. Just get a little repetative. I'd say this is like 78% done. Great job man!

Hey Simon

Good effort on this one...

You need to fill out some more of the range around 100-250Hz... there isn't much in there (except some awkward resonances), and most systems won't represent your sub bass well without something above it supporting it.

Also, some variation throughout would be great.. it tends to get quite repetitive.

The overall mix is lacking balance; some things are too quiet, and others too loud.

Good job on the drums; but they don't really sound "together". Some overall compression - or perhaps some parallel compression over the drums would improve this.

I think you could be more imaginative with the vocal FX and bring it out a bit. It's barely there.

One final point - think about structure and build up.. there isn't too much build up to the drop that makes you anticipate it.

Really nice effort overall though. You are definitely making good progress.

Simage...

Really good i mean really good. Loving the melody and mood of this track. It's not too dark but it shows that you really put you time in it. Nice use of fx and instruments.

That's all i got to say really.

still remember your first track on here...

you have come a long way in a short space of time mate, this is impressive stuff.

you have an individual style with all your tracks, which will keep you unique in the future. love the moody elements in here, does need a couple of eq tweaks and a few edits like the others have said, but i think this is your best track to date. keep it up Smile

Really melodic track this one - structurally the different sections work well together too.

Around 1:50 what struck me was that the bass did vary volume wise alot - not sure if this is due to phasing with the reecy sounding bass or it may just need a bit of compression. If you sort that out in the mix this track will be big! Smile

Jo man love your compositions, theyre quite in the right positions. Think your drums could use lots more power. Piano riff is good. Nice and chill. Just power up the mix
