Please check out my new track 'Drifting (vip)' and post your comments here!

I really took the time to make the drums on this tune very clean and crisp but as you know I'm still not that good with it.

Drifting was created from a piano improvisation I came up with at first. I was going to make a piano only track but in Dubstep. I guess I changed my mind last second hehe.

Let me know what you guys think. I don't know if my sound is getting better or it's getting worse haha.

nice piano part, nice sound and nice melody..
the drums are clean, but i can't make up my mind if i do like the snare...it's clean and snappy but somewhat lifeless (in opposition to the piano)..just some thoughts..
overall nice track!
cheers..

intelligent soundin tune - could imagine drivin at night in the rain to this one
could probably use a bit more vocal sample - the whispering effect is really good tho
super breakdown - calms it down to regroup

the drums sound good to my ear - very real sounding.
maybe a couple of fills jus for a bit of spice?

u r obviously competent on the keys
this is decent.

great work with the keys. I wonder if raising the chords up an octave might help separate them from the sub. I like the break in the build up but might need a more dramatic sweep to make the drop more climatic. The hats & kick are good, but i'm not a big fan of your snare sample. I agree that a nice vocal sample could work well. great use of sfx btw. I like the stick-clicks especially. Nice tune.

Thanks for the kind words and I appreciate you guys tuning in.

I do agree though... the snare does sound a bit lifeless. I guess during the mixdown process and converting it changed the way it sounded from the project. I'll go ahead and look into this and fix it up to make it more lively.

Also, i'll try raising the octave on the piano to see what feel it gets.

Thanks for the advice everyone!
