Hey dot-be... been a long while since i've put a tune up here. many started, but few finished. Here's a simple, minimal jungle roller from me. I guess my typical sound. This track's inspired by the likes of serum & bladerunner, etc. I think its done for the most part, maybe some more mixing. let me know if ya hear any glaring mistakes... and i'll be up later to write some reviews.
When I heard the liquid intro and saw the names of serum & bladerunner I was wondering where you would take this and how you would get there.
You go there, that's nice. But the intro is too liquid compared to the rawer jungle style tune you pull off in the drop. You can easily fix this by having some RAW fix and stabs in the intro to give an indication of the darker shizzle that is coming up. Apart from that it's a really nice tune.

intro is a little long, shorten it up, drop is good, nice sub. personally not a huge fan of the drums, the break has been used soooo many times before. kik might be a little too loud, other wise not too bad, good elements, decent breaks, decent production.
dLO, your intro like others on .be catch my attention right away. I'm really digging your sound here and how minimal (as you said) it is. The drums fit well in the background during the intro and aren't too much to begin with which is awesome.
I was blown away with the first drop as well good usage of instruments and it all flows well. Nothing too much nothing too little.
Not much really to say about the track, it sounds really good and loving the rasta you put in it
Maybe a bit more fine tuning with the mixdown and this track is wonderful.
Nice atmo and stabs. As battledrone the master said try to introduce us to the nastier elements that await us. Bass has some issue and needs some more release IMO. Kick isn't punching through as much as as I would like it to. Drum programming is cool but needs more edits and delights to keep me grooving. Try introducing the stab sooner and I like the drum transitions. I hope I don't get shot. This is a good tune and has many vibing elements here, keep working on this heavy roller.
like the bass. rolling and powerful.
Vocal echoes are great too.
Rhodes are ok, but seem a bit out of place.
Not a fan of the drums.. too mechanical and light sounding for me. Prefer my kick with some bite and some hi hat swing..
pads around 4:40 are nice. Lovely ambience and superb stereo image.
