For this tune I got inspired by the first Blade movie and the DnB tune in it (Source Direct - Call & Response) which is creepy and dark and not at all aiming at the dancefloor. Another inspiration was the Alien movies which I absolutely love. Old school feel for sure, bass bombs are lovely, as is that lovely bass synth pitch bending, love that one! The effects are good, has a solid sci fi feel. I've forgotten about Blade but i'm sure if i watch it again i'll remember the tune. Overall, this track fits my liking. Everything is tight and very crisp to let the listener know that you were trying to put emphasis and energy to the song. What break/s are you using? Great ol skool vibe, but the bass drops have that dj vapour-ish new skool sound - a great mix. Some sick, creepy sounds going on in here mate. It all fits u'r description perfectly.
