Please check out my new track 'Key To The Tetrahedron' and post your comments here!
Hi Guys! Havent been on it for a bit. Life and all. Had some spare time so i made this. Made in reason 4. I wired up alot of things in this track and cant remember it all? LOL! I know the break is redrum, the little trancy sound is a subtractor and the sub bass is just the default malstrom patch with a scream on it. The distorted sound that follows the bass is a subtractor also.

Some good variation with the pads and synths going on for the first 2 mins etc although this intro is way too long. The drop is ok and I like the beat change at 4.01. I thinks the track is missing fx,vocals and sub bass.It needs to be a lot shorter and change quicker. This is a good template to finish but more work needed imo. I also use reason 4, you will need to hook it up with some mastering software to get the best out of it.

Intro shapes up well, builds nicely, really good atmosphere, I like it. I would have pumped a massive drop though around 1min 30, the intro is a little too long, id shorten it up and use all those progressions you have done for an outro, cause they are good.
When your drop does come though, its dope. There is plenty of nasty energy, plenty. The mix needs to be sorted, everything needs a little eq to sharpen up the sounds and give them a little more presence, then edit the track down, master, and youve got a smashing good track.
Great work!

Nice intro (maybe a bit long tho, 3 mins til bassline!) Definitely needs some sub. Some nice builds and drops with good drum programming. Overall i like the synths and general gritty sort of vibe. I would normally copy the whole bassline and play through a simple but solid sub patch, if thats any help. maybe a little distortion on the higher synth/pad sound as its a little bit too "nice" if that makes sense. Maybe a sidechain compressor with the bass ducked under the kick would help it punch out of the speakers a bit more. Keep up the good work mate.
