you could vary the hi hats velocities, the drums could use more punch in them... sample could use a little cleaning too... nice part is on 3:45

Intro sounds are very spacy, but could do with a littless frequencies in mid region, and some more highs for me. De drums that are coming in are kind of dry, i would give them some reeverbisch feeling in the beginning. That ploppy sound aroue 55 needs to be little present in the mix. overall drums are tight, just dont love that ploppy sound but thats my problem.
good job

intro needs some layerin, fx etc to spice it up. That minimal little beat, very smooooth, nice. I love the snare/rimshot, sits nicely. When the bass comes in, needs to have more impact, either turn it up a bit, if it muffles your mix to much, mess around with other subs to find one you feel
The breakdown at 2 min 30 or so, defo needs some layers to build up intensity, even the ol pitch rise would do it with the right patch. There is still a bit fo work to go, I think more layers, more fx and more work on creating a little more tention for your drops. That little sample you got going in the main parts is nice, maybe bring it in and out a bit more.
big up!

Damn LiquiDub...
Sooooooothing oh man... this got me on a very good chilled and relaxed mood. I like your drum work and structure up until around 1:50-2:10 (get ready for this negative comment) but I got a bit lost maybe cuz it was repetitive and almost felt like the song changed completely. After that build up it all came back together and felt right.
Overall good work and keep it up

Not so keen on the light break and the 'lead' and melody.
Drums are too 'tinny' -sorry for the harshness there... theres just no bite or punch to the break.
Where's the bass? |
Thanks for the advice. By the way what are you listening through? because you asked wheres the bass, if your listening through headphones or good monitors you'd definitely hear it
