HotKey is working on the new alternative for Buzz: BUZZle
He included a music generation algorithm which can make melodies and do sequencing based on a matrix
His coments on this
quote: |
But, seriously, an algorithm will NEVER EVER replace innovative musicalism. eBohlen just helps you quickly creating a sequence of notes according to a stochastical table. Listen for yourself:
* eBohlen doing cheap DanceFloor
* eBohlen doing some jazzy stuff
(all I did at these songs is pressing the "eBohlen this pattern" for each track - then I pressed "eBohlen the whole sequence". So hear for yourself how a 100% eBohlen'ed song sounds...) |
Quite good to be done 100% by a computer, no?
I don't think I'll ever use the function, I still like making my own melodies and stuff, but might be a handy tool to get inspiration

Lol
Not the best music indeed, but at least it's not out of key, so I say: not a bad algorythm. But that's all
